My area of interest in autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks our own body. The disease I’m most interested in is rheumatoid arthritis. Although I’m not working on a cure, I am trying to find ways to treat these patients with the best medications available.

At the moment I’m working on a type of treatment using T cells, it can be applied to many different types of cancer.
When I finish working on this, I’d be very interested in working on bacterial or fungal infections.

I work in medical imaging, my job is more about understanding how treatments work than inventing new treatments. One nice aspect of it is that the techniques can be applied to many types of treatments and diseases.
