      Hi, I didn’t really choose the field I currently work in, I kind of fell into it by accident. I had finished my PhD which was partially food based, I really enjoyed it but without a food technology degree I struggled to get jobs in that field. Therefore I looked into other areas and ended up in pharmaceuticals making drugs for eye diseases. This was a bit of a commune for me an hour and half each way. I did that for a year but then got a job closer to home. The toxic work scared me a little to start with but once you get used to the ways of working its fine. Now I really enjoy it.
