Hey! Really important question. There are several kinds of white cells (or white blood cells). They are like the guardians of your body and they control the whole immune system. Some roam around looking for signs of damage or infection. Others come running when there’s a problem in the body and sort it out by engulfing or killing the infected cells. And others remember the cause of infections so that the body can deal with them more quickly the next time. White cells are really amazing!
