      That’s a great question and a difficult one, because the immune system is a machine with so many important parts. It’s like asking what the most important part of a car is. If you take away the wheels or the pedals or the engine or the steering wheel, the car won’t work – so which bit is the most important?

      BUT maybe it’s the killer T cells because they actually do the job of destroying invading microbes.
