• Question: What diseases are scientists coming close to curing?

      I know we are currently really close to eradicating (completely get rid of) polio, an infectious disease. We have already got rid of smallpox, another infectious disease. So I think, if we try hard enough, we may be able to eradicate other infectious diseases, too.
