Great question! I would like to buy a robot to help with some of my experiments. They can be quite slow and time-consuming and sometimes I make mistakes. If I programmed a robot carefully, it could do some of my work much more accurately and precisely than I do. But I’d still have to do all the thinking and reading!
A robot is a good idea. Screening compounds can take a lot of time and resources, some companies already have robots doing some of this type of work. You can check out the Ambr 250 it is a automated bioreactor system which can have up to 25 vessels (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11DNDSPRIhY)
