• Question: Do you consider yourself successful?

      I would like to think so. I enjoy what I do and I get paid enough to pay for my house, go out and go on holiday. So I think I would count that as successful. I know some people worry about publications and awards etc but for me its just about being happy in what I do, which I believe to be more important

      I’m one of those who worry about publications and awards 🙂 In that area I still have a lot to do. Otherwise I have a job that I enjoy, I also get paid enough to have a good time outside of work. I’m still at an early stage of my career as a researcher, but so far it’s been alright.

      I do, yes. I’ve had the chance to travel a lot, work on really interesting things and I love my job! It depends what you count as successful I guess.

      Haha! I would like to say yes! Although most of us are very modest so don’t like to go on about it too much 🙂
