No, there are many aspects that we don’t know. Scientists keep finding new subtypes of immune cells and spend a lot of time trying to figure out what they do. Sometimes we discover new functions of cells that we thought we knew well.

As technology improves, we are able to see much finer details of immune cells and how they interact with each other.

Absolutely not at all! The more we find out about it, the more questions come up to answer. In agreement to Francis, we keep finding new types of cells with different functions, and also new molecules and proteins. The more we find out, the more we can help people with diseases.

The immune system is extremely complex and reacts in different ways in different situations. theres still a lot to learn! Especially how we can harness it to fight disease.
