      Technically speaking, yes we can and we often do this when categorising cancers e.g. what are the major mutations they have. This is useful for deciding on which treatment a patient should receive as a lot of medicines are targeted against certain mutations in cancer cells. However most cancer cells have multiple mutations and are often unique so its hard to categorise them too much.
