Bacteria are very varied. Some live outside of your cells but some actually live within them. All of the immune cells are involved in clearing bacteria. The first on the scene are usually neutrophils and macrophages. Then, B cells can make antibodies against them. If the bacteria live within our own cells, T cells and natural killer cells are important.
