  Hmmm. When people ask me to try and choose between two different types of cells I always struggle, because all of the cells work together. Phagocyte deficiencies can cause problems with bacteria that live within our cells, such as TB. If you lacked all of your lyphocytes however, you would have serious problems with your immune system. There is a disease called SCID, and if you have it you don’t have lymphocytes. Unless it is treated it is deadly in childhood. So I will say lymphocytes!
