• Question: What is the most effective strategie white blood cells use to fight the germs?

      Antibodies are probably the most effective, they are specific to each disease and we have memory cells which are ready to produce these antibodies if we ever encounter the disease again

      Hmm, all white blood cells have different functions so this is a really difficult question…! I quite like natural killer cells because they are like ninjas which kill our own cells if they are cancerous or infected with viruses.

      I don’t know if it’s the most effective way, but I like the way neutrophils make sticky webs out of DNA and proteins (they’re called NETs) to catch germs.
