      I had to look this up. It’s one which changes it’s thickness (viscosity) according to how much pressure you put on it.
      This reminds me of an experiment we did as a kid. If you mix cornflour and water you get a really thick liquid. If you put your finger into it slowly it stays as a liquid, but if you bang it hard with a fist it’s like hitting a hard solid – amazing!
