      I don’t know of any other uses than for medical imaging, but there are a lot of different diseases we can look at with this type of machine. We have not yet made full use of the technology, because there are many tracers (radioactive molecules) that we could still develop.
      There is a new trend called PET-MRI, which basically combines a PET scanner with an MR (magnetic resonance) scanner. These 2 technologies give us different types of information that complement each other, it could be very useful (especially for looking at the brain, in my opinion).
