      I probably work around 50 hours per week, but some weeks are much more than others, which are less.

      I would say around 50 hours a week as well. it’s variable and also I am rather free to organise my time as I wish, I don’t have set hours.

      Like Ben, this varies a bit depending on my experiments but I probably work about 60 hours a week.

      I am contracted to work 40 hours a week which is 8 hours a day. But it does vary from week to week depending the kind of experiments we do. I work flexi-time so can start anytime between 7:30 and 9:30 and finish from 3:30 till 5:30, which I find quite handy.We do sometimes work shifts which can be from 6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm and 10pm till 6am. This is usual one day a week for particular process we run

      Same as the others. Totally depends on what projects are on and if we are away at a medical meeting, which does require weekend work. A typical day would be 10 hours and busy days are 12-14 hours, but they are a bit rarer!
