• Question: How do drugs react in the immune system?

      That’s an interesting question. A lot of drugs are there to help the body function normally, so that could be aiding the immune system or in some cases suppress the immune system. Other ways drugs can react with the immune system is if people have a reaction to a drug know as a side effect. We can sometimes test for this in the lab before a drug is released. For example my product is grown in E.coli, when I am purifying my product if I don’t remove all the E.coli bits that have become fragmented during the process this can cause a reaction in patients. This is not a reaction to the drug but to the E.coli

      Yes, as Sian said, it toilet depends on the drug and the disease – some drugs help tons uproars and overactive immune system, and others aim to help the immune system fight disease.
