• Question: hey, im wondering what a levels i need to take to become a dentist

      Hi Udoke. Great that you are interested in dentistry! I looked on the UCAS website for this (see link below) and it says you need three A levels, usually at grades ranging from AAA to ABB, including chemistry and biology – are these subjects you are interested in doing?

      Elizabeth’s answer is a great starting point but it is also worth remembering that these are very competitive courses so it’s a good idea to do something to set you apart from other candidates like getting some work experience in a relevant health care setting if possible.

      I agree with both of the answers below. Try to stand out from the crowd, any extra experience you can get on top of A levels to make you look like a well-rounded individual will certainly help!
